The heroes are working out at the base when they are called in by Comm Officer Veronica Chen. She is accompanied by phone by Dr. Anson and in person by Sub Commander Orokibo. It appears The Shen were exercising their UNCOS ability to sanction Jackrabbit. Later information would indicate that they utilized an advanced tracking technology to fine Jackrabbit Prime, and staged their attack from the Chinese Embassy satellite in Chicago. The incursion by The Shen was yet another surprising incident considering the stringent conditions Team Liberty placed on performing Quasar activities in the U.S. The team deployed through DELTA transport immediately to intercept Team Shen pursuing Jackrabbit. After some initial tentative posturing, the team engaged with The Shen and in the face of greater numbers and more powerful Quasars, the team held them with enough time to allow a Daedalus IBIS to recover the paralyzed Jackrabbit.
