The Daedalus Foundation was established in 1988 as an organization to help find worldwide solutions to social issues facing not only our collective societies and nations, but those facing the world through the use of space technologies. Our Mission is to empower a society where every person has the opportunity to grow and evolve into healthy, strong, vibrant participants in the human experience.

Thanks to the endowments of major corporations like Ferrotech, the Daedalus Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation's collective grants include those made by major benefactors such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from 1994 onward. Individual and organizational grant benefactors are reported in annual reports available by contact the Daedalus Foundation directly.
